Thanks to Erwin Lustenberger and all the members of NSU Fan-club Schweiz for the superb arrangement of the 21st International NSU Treffen. Had the weather been sunny I can´t imagine a more beautiful located treffen ever! Not minding the wet conditions over 300 attendants registerred. I personally really fell in love with the country and in spite of the unstopable rain I still had a great time! 
Below is a selection of photos I shot during the meet. In no particular order and for no particular reason other than the objects caught my eye. As usual the pic´s are clickable for larger size and You will get a small description if You hold the mouse pointer over the pic.
excellent directions helped contenders find their way to Sempach Welcome! The Sempach- umbrella was my own contribution to the picture. I would rather have bought another kind of souvenir! The friendly crew at the registration desk showing their best side...
The Treffen- General getting a hug for his efforts. A 501 OSL outside the registration tent ...singing in the rain... 1200 convertible. Seen before, but usually then with the top down!
Clean yellow 1000 from Hungary  A Belgian TT. If anyone knows where to buy those wheels please contact me! Good looking metallic blue TT, he had the miniature match from Revell in the rear window. A red TT from switzerland. Not the most common colour on the TT:s
Sometimes the untouched, original ones, are good to the eye.  Bright yellow TT, just the way I like it. Absolutely immaculate, swiss, TT. Wow! If I´d owned it I had not dared start it!!! One of the many Spiders on a trailer.
Like the colour combo!! Nicely shaped Rennwagen, Bergrennen? The power plant means business!  8.000 swiss francs and it is Yours!
Marc´s (I´m sure You are familiar with his homepage) pretty Sport Prinz One german Ro80 and two Italian Two for the price of one? This was the most common colour on the Ro80´s at the Treffen this year. Spot the most northern vistitor at the Treffen! He is Norweigian! Like me he and his friends cheated and flew in for the meet. The crowd is checking the type871 experimental engine... A way to widen the arches.
Rare "Banana- yellow" Ro80. 1976? Well, bikes are perhaps not the most exciting thing to most NSU- fans. But nevertheless an important part of the NSU- history. Here a seldom seen ladies bike from 1929? and even an NSU for the kids! Rare piece. Bikes belonged to real NSU- enthusiast, Dutchman Peter denHond. Here seen from his best, Sport Prinzed, angle.  A very, very fine trio of Bikes. A Rennfox, a Sportfox and a Geländemax. All "homemade". All owned by Dick Teunissen from Holland. From the condition and appearance, I was quite astonished that Dick races the Rennfox frequently! Babyblue babycar. Clean Prinz III from Holland.
    Cool K70. Won first price in his class- he was alone in that class.... Guess the model! An early Prinz 1000 or a TT? It sure rained, but the duck on the roof is overdoing it a bit... Not too many TYP110 to be seen. Rarely blue one was one of two at the treffen I believe.
Why not bring Your moped for a quickly tour around the Treffen- neighbourhood. Dresses for pleasure. Again the rear shows the identity: Oldtimer Freunde Sulmtal (Oldtimer friends Sulm- valley) This try is better. Here are the Dutch. The tall guy with the big smile is internet´s most famous NSU- Dutchman: Marc DuBois. Can You spot Herman Mulstege as well? By the way, don´t tell my girlfriend about the waitress...
Entertainment of the night in Sempach Festahalle was an- all girl- dance show. Most appreciated! A change of clothes didn´t make them less popular. Were You there? Crowded in the cosy Sempach Festhalle. This the point when one realizes how many that are really at place!!

svenska Classic Motor festival avhölls som vanligt 2-3/6 2001 i Ånnaboda strax utanför Örebro, Sverige. Inte mycket NSU men det som fanns får ni här!

In English Classic Motor festival was held 2-3/6 2001 in Ånnaboda, outside Örebro, Sweden. Again, not many NSU´s, but still some good  pictures!
